I am an INDIAN even in INDIA...

India is my country. All Indians are my brothers and sisters..... These are the starting lines of the pledge that we used to take in our school days. These are ment to incorporate an idea of unity among us (Indians) from child hood so that we unite to take our country forward. Are we really brothers and sisters or atleast is there somekind of relationship bounded by humanity? If there is such relationship there will not be cases where people die more because they are not admitted in hospitals on time than the seriousness of the injury at the time of accidents. My point is here we are not bound. We are bounded more by religions, castes and other different irrelavant differences than due to humanity. I had seen people saying that certain group of people who are not actually related to them as their own community as their caste is same. They support their own community irrespective of right or wrong. Many parents prefer marriages with in their community some times sub community. They are so worried about their caste than his/her character. Certain group of people are so united and are very helpful to each other. This looks good to read until I say they are helpful to each other in taking other community of their own society down resulting in communal clashes which in fact ruling the nation right now. Some say that 'Baghavatgeetha' should be taught at schools and some other say 'Islam' principles to be taught at schools. They forget that they are many things common in both of them and both of them teach service to humanity and nature is the ultimate service to God. But we fight on the name of these holy principles. In our country many of us cast votes just beacuse of cast, religion or some other relation. Many criminals are held high in politics as they have support from their community. To all those people who believe in cast I ask only one question. If you had met with an accident and you are in need of blood, tell me whether your family members look for the donor belonging to your own community or they check only blood group? Some times we don't even know the name of the donor. Why we need cast to establish a relationship like marriage? We had friends whom we trust more than our family members who actually are from different communities. Aren't we happy with those from different communities. Some times we love some of the traditions followed by them. I was never called an Indian in my country. I was either adressed based on my name, language, cast or religion. Why we need so many differences? To all those fathers I wanted to ask a question. Which is greater, the probability of finding a right mate to your child with in your community or the probability of finding a right mate across the country or say a state? Why do you miss this logic. You are the one's who guided us all the way but some time you to miss some options. I saw parents who inject these castism or similar thoughts in younger generation which resulted in the existence of this cast system even today. If we had slowly forgot our casts from the time of our Indipendence today we all might have been united as Indians. No casts, no special reservations and equal oppurtunity to all and equal growth. We need to understand that all the things which are followed since many years may not be right. We need to change and change things. Let us remove the tags of cast from our names. Let us say that we are Indians in India or abroad. We are recorgonised by our nation and name. We need one religion one cast #INDIANISM... Jai Hind.. Satyamevajayate......
