In the last few weeks we had severe debates on intolerance and some of us even doubted on the India's Secularism. There may be some issues and some communal disturbances which are actually created by some narrow minded section of our society, but we are secular and we need to answer that particular section of society by ignoring their comments on religion or cast. We need to be mature enough to respond to the issues which actually needed our response. We need to respect the personal opinion of every individual. I am really upset with the parliament sessions where the so called representatives of our country fighting about growing intolerance rather than discussing on some important issues which help and improve the country's economy and living standards. According to me the issues on intolerance should be dealt in a smoother way. It is not something to discuss and debate in parliament which may hurt some of the people's beliefs and may result in more serious issues. The representatives must be more responsible in giving public statements. One should also be careful about the impact which the statement creates in the society. Recently we had severe rains in Chennai and the mega city is drowned by unexpected rains. We should be proud to see the whole India stand by Chennai showing their concern in social media, some of them praying to the God, some of them coming forward to help. We can see the Unity of India now. Every one in Chennai including the Army, Navy, Police forces helping others in every possible way irrespective of their religion or cast. Even the Indians in the other parts of the country showing their concern about the people in Chennai and praying for the safety. Even the government of India came forward and promised to help them in all possible ways. We may be different in the religions we follow, languages we speak, tradition which we follow but we are united under one roof 'INDIA'.
We the people of India pledge for revival of the Chennai city and all other rain effected areas. Our payers and wishes will be always with the people of Chennai....
