The Parliament Sessions

I think I was in 6th standard when I asked my teacher why was the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are known as the houses, the upper house and the lower house and my teacher said they are representing the whole Indian population and the members in those houses are like a family who discuss and lay the foundation for developing the country. That was a theoretical description which was nice to hear but practically I never saw any discussions in the house whether it is Lok Sabha or it is Rajya Sabha. There were only debates and debates on their personal cases, on scams which were already occurred. The ruling party blames the opposition and vice versa. I don't understand how the recent National Herald Case become an national issue to be discussed in parliament. I don't understand why an allegation on Union Finance Minister to be discussed in parliament. There is a judicial system our country to make judgement on all such allegations and cases. I don't know why are our leaders wasting time in parliament pointing out their fingers at one another. Even when their are discussions on farmers plight in our country, our leaders are more interested in debating on who is responsible for such situations than discussing on the measures to be taken. There are many problems in our society, in fact every system has loop holes, crime has increased, corruption has spread like a cancer to every cell of the society. It is already late, we need to change, our way of thinking needed a change, we need more awareness in the society. I appeal to all the representatives in the houses both state and central, Please discuss not debate, Concentrate on problems in the society not personal problems. I hope I will see sessions where my country's problems get some measures to overcome them and see crime free, corruption free country. Jai Hind. Satyamevajayate.

The article is dedicated to all those leaders and bureaucrats who tried to uplift the country facing all the loop holes of the system.

Unity in Diversity

In the last few weeks we had severe debates on intolerance and some of us even doubted on the India's Secularism. There may be some issues and some communal disturbances which are actually created by some narrow minded section of our society, but we are secular and we need to answer that particular section of society by ignoring their comments on religion or cast. We need to be mature enough to respond to the issues which actually needed our response. We need to respect the personal opinion of every individual. I am really upset with the parliament sessions where the so called representatives of our country fighting about growing intolerance rather than discussing on some important issues which help and improve the country's economy and living standards. According to me the issues on intolerance should be dealt in a smoother way. It is not something to discuss and debate in parliament which may hurt some of the people's beliefs and may result in more serious issues. The representatives must be more responsible in giving public statements. One should also be careful about the impact which the statement creates in the society. Recently we had severe rains in Chennai and the mega city is drowned by unexpected rains. We should be proud to see the whole India stand by Chennai showing their concern in social media, some of them praying to the God, some of them coming forward to help. We can see the Unity of India now. Every one in Chennai including the Army, Navy, Police forces helping others in every possible way irrespective of their religion or cast. Even the Indians in the other parts of the country showing their concern about the people in Chennai and praying for the safety. Even the government of India came forward and promised to help them in all possible ways. We may be different in the religions we follow, languages we speak, tradition which we follow but we are united under one roof 'INDIA'.

We the people of India pledge for revival of the Chennai city and all other rain effected areas. Our payers and wishes will be always with the people of Chennai....

Secularism from the roots...

WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens…

These are the lines from the Preamble of our Constitution. We have declared our nation a secular country. Is it so? Almost every day when I go through the news paper there will be some or the other news on communal clashes; caste based politics; new subsidies, quotas which create differences and many other disgraceful events that are happening across the country. Recently Dadri Incident had raised doubts on our ‘Unity in Diversity’. We are facing many problems which we need to tackle as a nation but instead we are fighting among ourselves for the sake of worth less religion or cast. Religion is created to bind ourselves to some rules so that we do not commit mistakes at least in the fear of God. Unfortunately we are using religion to fight among ourselves in the name of God. I do agree that there are some ideologies which contradict each other’s religious sentiments but we need to be mature enough to understand that human relationships and mutual cooperation is above all sentiments. After all we live in the same country, follow same path while traveling to our destinations. I do not think any God of any religion will encourage violence, if anyone is there to encourage we do not call him God. I personally believe that there only one such supernatural power, that is Nature. If we protect the Nature it will allow us to survive if we try and destroy it will destroy us and if we fight among ourselves it will never bother to help. Every individual has to follow the same routine cycles like eating, sleeping etc in order to survive, then why these differences? We had right to follow any religion, this is secularism. We do not have right to hate other religions, this is also secularism. These are the initial thoughts that are to be injected in the young minds before we teach any other principles. If this had been done there would not be a situation that is present in Syria or in Dadri. Caste system is another social barrier persisting in our country since ages. I do not understand this concept of caste, the basis on which they divided people. Whatever it may be today it has been a disgrace to my country. Today I question the previous generation who often comments about present generation ‘Aren’t you ashamed of differentiating people on the basis of cast? Aren’t ashamed of injecting the idea of cast in the present generation? ‘. I would call these people who created differences among us on the basis of cast as ‘ The Educated Illiterates ’ We all know the meaning of dignity of labour, we know the importance of every occupation in this society, the why this discrimination? We need to step out of these boundaries, respect every individual and unite to fight against corruption, poverty, illiteracy and unemployment. Jai Hind. Satyamevajayate.

I am an Indian before my religion, I am an Indian before my state, I am an Indian before my language, I am an Indian before my name. I am an Indian to Change, I Change to Change my nation. Let us follow the new religion # INDIANISM.

The Independence Day.

Wish you a very happy independence day to all my fellow Indians and also to the neighboring country. This day is considered as an auspicious day in the history of India as we achieved independence from the British rule which is treated more as slavery than as a rule or government. We had completed 68 years of independence. Our leaders had a vision for our country when we had achieved our independence which is also projected in our constitution and our laws. Now the question is ‘Where we stand in achieving that vision?’ Did we achieve at least 50% of it? It is difficult to answer. In these 68 years we had achieved many laurels for our country. We had a potential defence, navy and air force units which are continuously guarding our nation. We had taken up successful Mangalyan project recently which shows our potential in space navigation and research. We had developments in various sectors and in some sectors we emerged as leaders. Some of our companies had got world class recognition. India emerged as one of the greatest tourist attraction which may be the only country sustaining various cultures with harmony. India became the symbol for peace and love where some of the animals are also given respect. India became the source of man power which is providing potential employees to the most esteemed companies. Many companies today have Indians at their top positions. We are successful in implementing technology with in the country. We are able to build world class cities. We had achieved many laurels in the sports as a nation. Today we are the most trusted market to the world where they can invest. We developed a fairly stable economy. We are also successful in many ways as a nation and as a largest democratic nation. We are fortunate enough to see Abdul Kalam who is an inspiration for the modern generation of India. We are gifted with many legends in various fields. In contrast we had to tackle many failures in traveling towards are dream to become a self sustained developed nation. Though we achieved independence we are still bound in the shackles of governance, education and caste system. We had to face new social barriers like crime and corruption which had grown substantially in independent India. Our politics became an analogy for crime and corruption. Farmers are still dependent on monsoons and money lenders in our independent India. Student is dependent on their financial status to choose the field of study in independent India. Girls need to depend on someone to travel on roads at night. Where are we independent? We are independent in corruption. We had freedom to litter on the roads. In some areas girls did not have freedom to even enter the schools. Most of the women are forced to quit their jobs after marriages. Dowry system is still prevailing which is turning out to be a nightmare for bride’s father and also one of the reason for female infanticides. Some are still bound to superstitions and some are specially imposed on girls. Education system needed a change wherein we need a system that is encouraging for students to learn and apply things rather than focus on just examinations. We failed to attract students who are leaving the country and are settling in foreign countries and as a result the brilliant thoughts which are handcrafted in India are not used for our development as a nation. The reservation system still persists which shows our failure in removing the differences in the society. There are several barriers we are facing today and each of these needed a broad minded hearts. Crimes against women are increasing. We need to tackle all these with our bold hearts and overcome all barriers in order to become a self sustained developed nation where the citizens are blessed with knowledge that enhances the human relationships and comforts and make this holy land a best place to pursue knowledge along with wisdom. Let us not forget our nation the next day of Independence Day. The national anthem we sing on this day should be a symbol of religious harmony. Let us join the hands together and show the power of the largest youth nation to the world. Personally I like two important things on this day. One is the national flag breathing the warm respects of Indians and the other  is the voice of India uniting to sing the national anthem keeping all their differences apart. Jai Hind. Satyamevajayate.

I request all Indians to be bound to National Integrity and Cultural Harmony rather than to caste and religion. It is ‘Vandemataram’ and not ‘One Day Mataram’. I believe in one god which is my mother land and which is above all religions as prescribed in the Indian Mythology.

The article is dedicated to A.P.J Abdul Kalam who always stays alive in our hearts.
